Magnetiz - Magnetic games

This is the flagship Grinbox series. In these colorful magnetic games, everything is magnetic: the characters, the objects, the board – everything!

The series includes hundreds of beautifully-designed game pieces: family members, friends, pets, clothes, furniture, objects, food, utensils and toys that can be combined in countless different ways against the magnetized background, letting you create an infinite variety of stories, layer by layer.

This is a unique patent developed out of an in-depth understanding of how children think when they play, what their world is like, and what they want to see. Combining the pieces, layer by layer, creates live 3D pictures that stimulate the imagination.

The series features two captivating characters: Nikki, the cool girl, and Mickey, the fun-loving boy. They both use the amazing range of objects and items in the game to do anything they can imagine – the sky's the limit!

These wonderful Magnetiz characters were created by an expert team of psychologists and educators to represent our world, only on a much smaller scale. The characters who come to life in the game represent a full spectrum of people, social connections, and responsibilities: parents, grandparents, siblings, and the conflicts that might arise between them and their friends – the "nice one", the "loser", and the "snob". All of these characters, as well as many other issues, were carefully considered and discussed with complete openness and honesty during the game development process. The wide variety of characters allows children to identify with the people around them, like them or dislike them, and learn how to cope with social issues using the game, stories, and their imagination. It's no wonder that professionals have warmly embraced the game and are now using it to encourage introverted children to express themselves, opening a gateway to the inner worlds of troubled children and children with Down's syndrome.

Each game also includes ideas for each age group, including illustrated suggestions on how to play with 3-4 year olds, how to engage 5-6 year olds, and how 7-8 year olds can also enjoy the game.

The game consists of two series: the home series, each of which features a different room as the background, and the garden series, with backgrounds featuring outdoor locations set against the sky. The background helps children to position the characters, lets the imagination run wild, and enables every player find his or her own personal niche.

The game is designed for children aged three and over. It develops thinking, learning, imagination, memory, motor skills, mathematical thinking, and spatial orientation, while also encouraging emotional expression and helping children to better understand other people.

The great advantage of the games is the combination of items included in the different boxes. Each set features additional pieces designed to the same scale as the other pieces in the series, expanding the options for stories and movement between the various sets.

Home Series:

Friends – Mickey's friends arrive, and you all go into the living room together. Is Mickey expecting them, or is he taken by surprise? What do the friends talk about? This box contains family members, furniture, and items from the living room. How will you furnish it? How will you arrange the couch, shelves, and pictures? Who will come into the room now? What will he be carrying? What will happen next? It's all up to you!

Pajama Party – What fun! Nikki's friends are arriving for a pajama party in her beautifully-designed bedroom. What will happen? A birthday party? A surprise? Or maybe a pillow fight? Girl talk, or general mischief? Will the boys be allowed to come in too, or is this a "girls only" event? The items, the clothes, the makeup, and the balloons offer countless opportunities for stories and laughter.

Junior Chefs – Yummy… what lovely aromas! In this set we're in the kitchen, baking and cooking. Should we add ketchup, or maybe mustard? Careful, it looks like the oven is hot, and watch what you're doing with that knife! So who's cooking for us today, and why? Who's helping, and who's just making a mess? The characters, the accessories, the food, and the kitchen background set the stage for a magical, delicious story.

Making Bubbles – I've never seen so many bubbles! This time we're in the bathroom with towels, soap, hairbrushes, and lots of splashing. What happened to the laundry? Where's the baby crawling to? Did someone forget to turn off the faucet? What's in the closet? What can we see reflected in the mirror? Fly on the wings of your imagination and let's blow bubbles and tell stories in the Magnetiz bathroom!

Garden Series:

On the Farm – A set for lovers of nature and wide open spaces. Do you want to milk a cow? Plough the fields with a tractor? Pick fruit from the tree? Collect honey from a beehive? Gather the eggs the chicken laid? Draw water from a real well, just like in the old days? You might want to leisurely tend your flower garden and grow vegetables. But someone's been nibbling at the vegetables, we need to put up a scarecrow! Or maybe your heart's desire is to build a country home, filled with lovely items. Everything is possible with Magnetiz – just open the set and start breathing in that wonderful fresh air!

Fun Outside – Right now what I really want to do is ride a bike, go out to a basketball game, or maybe set up a soccer goal. I think Nikki prefers hanging out on the swing, but she never stops looking at the bumper cars her friends are enjoying. Grandma is happy just sitting on the bench and knitting. Wouldn't it be fun to move the slide so we can slide right into the sandbox? We'll climb the tree, fly a kite, and arrange a competition between the different characters, and more and more and more.

In The Yard – Do you want to have a barbecue? This is the perfect set for you! Who's bringing the hotdogs? Who's in charge of the grill? And what does everyone else do while they're waiting? Do you really have a monkey in your garden? Maybe we'll eat a little watermelon, or maybe we should take this opportunity to teach the dog a few tricks. It's all up to you. In The Zoo – Who doesn't love visiting the zoo? Enjoy the monkeys' acrobatics, admire the proud peacock's spectacular tail, discover different wildlife species, and see what all the animals are getting up to. Maybe the little kids will enjoy riding the zoo car from cage to cage, choosing their favorite treats from the ice cream truck, or even riding a two-humped camel. Here too, the possibilities are endless. It's all up to the player, who is quickly sweot away by the spirit of imagination and creativity!
